Pavelka and Widerstrom will be joining returning trainers Bob Harper and Dolvett Quince, along with host Alison Sweeney for season 16 of the series.
"We are excited to welcome Jessie and Jen into The Biggest Loser family, and know they will be valuable players on this life-changing show that continues to inspire millions of people to embrace a healthy lifestyle," President of alternative and late night programming at NBC, Paul Telegdy said in a statement. "We look forward to viewers meeting them and to revealing more great changes we have in store for the new season."
Reality TV must run in the family for the Pavelka's. His cousin just so happens to be Jake Pavelka who was star of The Bachelor. Jessie also has appeared on Lifetime series DietTribes, as well other shows in the U.K. Jen also dabbed in reality shows as part of American Gladiators, which also was on NBC.
Jillian revealed earlier this month that she wanted to distance herself from The Biggest Loser name after controversy surrounding lost season winner Rachel Fredrickson, who shocked viewers after revealing a dramatic weight loss that sparked eating disorder conversations.
Catch the two new stars of The Biggest Loser when the new season premieres on Thursday September 11 at 8 p.m. on NBC.
