Viewers better take a good look at the current Real Housewives of New York because come next season they're all going to be gone.
Sources are revealing that all of the housewives that are currently on the Bravo series are going to be replaced when the franchise returns for next season.
Despite reports of the show getting cancelled by Bravo it seems that the network has already picked the series up for season 7.
" Bravo doesn't want to cancel the series because New York is the unofficial capital of the United States, and insider reveals to RadarOnline. "The amount of wealth concentrated into such a small area makes it a major draw."
So they might not be cancelling it, but the source promises that the series will be revamped in a major way when it returns next season.
""The entire current cast, including Sonja Morgan, Heather Thomas, Luann de Lesseps, and Carole Radzwill are all expected to get pinks slips," the insider says, even alluding to the fact that Bravo is already holding auditions for their replacements.
The only one at this point that MIGHT get asked back is Ramona Singer, who has been with the show since its inception in 2008. The source also goes on to say that Aviva Drescher could be offered a much smaller role, of series guest star."
There is no mention by Radar as to whether or not newcomer Kristen Taekaman will get asked back, but we highly doubt it.
As for who will be asked to step in, the source explains, "Expect them to be over-the-top wealthy and very charismatic with multiple estates."
Despite the lackluster ratings for the new season, we have to say that we have been having fun watching them. If this news is true we will be sad to see them go.
