Rapper And 'Chicago PD' Actor Ice-T's Grandson Arrested In Fatal Shooting Of Roommate

Law & Order: SVU, and Chicago PD star Ice-T is going through a real life criminal crisis right now, after his grandson was arrested in the fatal shooting of a roommate.

MStars News has learned that Elyjah Marrow, 19, accidentally shot his roommate, Daryus Johnson in their Marietta, Ga., apartment while playing with a handgun Tuesday afternoon, according to the police.

Johnson, was also 19, was taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

"Marrow was not using proper firearms safety when handling the gun," Marietta Police Officer David Baldwin said, according to NY Daily News.

"That reckless handling of the firearm is what led to Johnson being accidentally shot and eventually killed."

The 19-year-old grandson of Ice-T was charged with involuntary manslaughter, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, and possession of a stolen firearm.
