After taking the stage at E3 2014, Alien: Isolation continues its critically acclaimed momentum and releases another trailer. Based on Ridley Scott's cult classic, Alien, get ready to face the space monster again in this Accolades trailer.
The horror videogame has been winning over critics since its E3 presentation. The video starts with a list of gaming sites and their great praise. After being nominated for over 40 E3 Awards, players already know this game must be worth it.
The chilling opening starts out similarly like Scott's sci-fi flick, with a narration from its main protagonist. Amanda Ripley is searching in the darkness of outer-space for her long-lost mother. The mother/daughter reunion is put on hold when an evil alien creature steps foot on her spaceship.
In her chilling internal monologue, Amanda states, "I don't know if you can hear me. But I made it across. It's really bad here. I think there's something here."
If you remember in the Alien sequels, especially in James Cameron's installment, no one believed an extraterrestrial took down Ellen Ripley's ship and killed everyone onboard. Everyone thought the planet was habitable enough to colonize there. Now imagine being a lonely orphan and being told your mother murdered her friends in cold-blood.
The truth will send Amanda on a death-defying trip. In the footage, we see Amanda running through dark corridors in first-person point-of-view. We actually get a glimpse of what's chasing her. The black shape looks eerily familiar, doesn't it?

Towards the end of the video, we the alien creature in all its glory. There is so much detail in the character design and movement. The killing-machine moves around, like you are its prey.
Alien: Isolation will be released on October 7, just in time for Halloween. Readers, were you scared when you saw this trailer?
