Erykah Badu Gets Silly On Camera; Singer Tries To Steal A Kiss From Local News Reporter, Mario Diaz On Live TV During Shia LaBeouf Arrest

Erykah Badu made an epic mark in local news when she walked on camera as Pix11′s Mario Diaz was covering a live newscast over the weekend. Diaz was reporting on the disorderly conduct arrest of actor Shia LaBeouf, when the singer dived in for a kiss.

As Badu tried to steal a kiss from the reporter, Diaz kept his professionalism, pushing the singer out of the way going right long with his live break as if nothing ever happened.

The soul singer attempted to deny that it was her in the video but later came clean and apologized to the Pix11 reporter via Twitter.

Diaz accepted the singer's apology writing, "@fatbellybella I get it because... "Ain't no particular sign I'm more compatible with I just want your extra time and your..... kiss""

Diaz revealed that his wife and two-year-old were just a few steps away when the silliness went down. "@fatbellybella #Btw my wife and 2-year-old were 20 yards away when it happened... She saw the roll up, you putting on hat & everything."
