Major Avengers Age of Ultron Spoilers Reveal Hulk's Fate and Future Movie Plans?

Most of the spoilers we have read for The Avengers: Age of Ultron have been interesting but ultimately minor in terms of the overall story. But that has all changed with the latest report, which drops some major spoilers about the Hulk's fate in the sequel and beyond.

HitFix's Drew McWeeny reports on what is likely the climax of the film and says the Hulk has a major role to play in the battle with the villainous robot:

"Bruce Banner continues to play a key role in things in [Avengers: Age of Ultron], and when the final war with Ultron spills onto the battlefield and out of the virtual realm, he has a major part to play. Unfortunately, that ends with him onboard a Quinjet on his way off the planet, with no way to immediately turn things around. He's going to have to ride out the trip. It's pre-programmed and he can't stop it." 

McWeeny speculates that the Quinjet would bring Banner to whereve the Guardians of the Galaxy are, which would mean the Guardians of the Galaxy sequel would involve the Hulk in something of a Planet Hulk storyline.

"I suspect we'll see some sequences that very much feel like they're part of Planet Hulk story," he says, "but the larger story will be about the Guardians finding a way to get Banner home, only to end up going with them."

This would lead to Thanos' arrival on Earth, which sets up The Avengers 3. McWeeny does, however, suggest fans believe Joss Whedon, Mark Ruffalo and others at Marvel with regard to the company's Phase Three plans.
