We are family!!
Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga are taking the lyrics from the Sister Sledge song to heart. The Real Housewives of New Jersey stars who have been at odds with each other for much of the last two seasons of the hit Bravo show have seemed to put all their differences behind them.
The sister-in-laws appear to be closer than ever, despite the Giudice's legal troubles. In a new interview with Star magazine Gorga reveals that the incident has brought the two families closer than ever.
"Thank God, everything is great between us," Melissa explains.
"As traumatic as their situation is, that's when family puts the nonsense aside to be there for each other," Gorga says. "My husband and I are here to support Teresa and Joe."
Another event that forced the family to put their differences aside was the unfortunate death of Teresa's father-in-law, Frank Giudice.
"There are things I've decided to let go," the New Jersey housewife reveals to the magazine. "I believe in forgiveness."
As to whether or not they include their children in on the family issues, Melissa says that she tries not to.
"I don't let my kids watch the show. I believe in sheltering them. I might go overboard with it, but I try my hardest to keep my kids young."
The Giudice family was originally suppose to know about their sentencing on July 8, but due to the death of Joe's father the court case has been pushed back until September.
