WATCH: New 'Sunset Overdrive' Gameplay Trailer Showcases First Look At In-Game Online Co-Op Multiplayer Mode [VIDEO] Release Date Set For October 28, 2014

Sunset Overdrive is one of the year's most exciting, highly anticipated video game titles - and for good reason! This week a brand new trailer for the XBox One exclusive title dropped and it showcased the wild online co-op multiplayer mode that gamers have been waiting to see. Take a look at brand new gameplay as the trailer breaks down the multiplayer mode for the October 28, 2014 game from Microsoft and Insomniac Games.

"Chaos Squad! Experience the mayhem of this 8-player co-op mode where players vote on and complete different missions across Sunset City," a statement released with this trailer said. "The culmination of Chaos Squad, called Night Defense, will pit your squad against an onslaught of mutants bent on stealing your stash of Overcharge...and your lives. Succeed and you'll earn sweet loot that can be used in both multiplayer and in your main campaign game."

This is our first look at the online co-op mode and it certainly has us excited. According to the XBox blog, XBox Wire, we can definitely expect some great gameplay action once we get our hands on this title.
