It's a rare thing in the Game of Thrones universe to have a wedding without a little bloodshed, but somehow this couple managed to do it.
A couple from Hereford dressed up as Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow and said "I do." Darren Prew and Kerry Ford took on the personas of Emilia Clarke and Kit Harington's characters from the fantasy series when they tied the knot.
The couple comprised of Darren, a 37-year-old plasterer, and 33-year-old cake designer Kerry, entered into a contest that was set up by Blinkbox Movies who were looking for a couple to get married a la Game of Thrones style.
"I was on Facebook one evening and I saw an ad seeking couples to marry Game of Thrones style," the bride says. "I mentioned it to Darren. I said 'Who on Earth would do that?' Little did I know that he then went online and applied- without telling me."

The wedding was held at Eastnor Castle in Herefordshire, where all 12 members of the wedding party spent around 50 hours in hair and makeup being turn into the characters from the series.
"I thought the transformation as amazing," Kerry says. It was like marrying Jon Snow. It was very, very weird and surreal to see Darren like that."
As for what the husband thought of the wedding, he says it was "too good an opportunity to pass up. We were planning on getting married next year, but I knew we just had to go for it. I have been a massive Game of Thrones fan since the beginning, so having our biggest day styled in such an amazing way is a dream come true."
