Brother Of VH1's 'Love & Hip Hop: NY' Star Mendeecees Harris Sentenced To Five Years In Prison

MStars News has learned that the brother of Love & Hip Hop: NY star, Mendeecees Harris was sentenced earlier this week to five years in federal prison for his part in a drug conspiracy.

Authorities claim that Mendeecees Harris, currently out of jail on a $600,000 bail, and his brother Tyrus partook in a organization that transported cocaine from New York City to the Rochester region.

Monday, June 30th the U.S. District Judge Frank Geraci Jr. sentenced Tyrus Harris, 36, to five years in prison, according to Democrat & Chronicle.  Harris had a minor part in the conspiracy, authorities revealed. The brother of the reality star pleaded guilty back in March.

Mendeecees Harris, who is the fiance to Love & Hip Hop: NY star, Yandy Smith, is scheduled to return to federal court in October. The father of 3 boys pleaded not guilty.

The photo above shows, Harris reunited with his sons after being incarcerated and posting bail back in March. The couple have one son together, Omere, and Harris has two other sons,  Lil Mendeecees and Aasim, from previous relationships.
