Philly 4th Of July Recap: Nicki Minaji, The Roots, Jennifer Hudson And More [PHOTOS And VIDEO]

Philedephia the city of "Brotherly Love" and "Philly Cheesesteaks" was one exciting, and outrageous place to be in over the past weekend for the 4th of July holiday.

It was another year of screaming fans, as Philadelphia's own The Roots performed in their hometown for the Philly 4th Of July Jam. This year's line up The Roots were joined by Nicki Minaj, Ed Sheeran, Ariana Grande, Jennifer Hudson, and Aloe Blacc.

The Roots member, questlove wrote, "Backstage w/ @marlonwayans & @iamjhud at #phillyjam"

Jennifer Hudson also shared a pic collage of the eventful weekend. She wrote, "Happy 4th of July !!! Philly !!!!!!!!"

Singer and actress, Nicki Minaji also posted a few photos from the event.

She even shared videos of the concert, to reveal just how crazy her fans are about her.

The singer wrote, "#video earlier. There's no place like Philly. I'm obsessed with them. Thank u VH1!!!! The ROOTS!!!! ShawnGee, Adam,Omar,Keisha,Candice.... The band,glam."
