During the latest season of HBO's Game of Thrones, viewers watched Arya Stark take on a dark path as she joined The Hound on a twisted road trip. Now actress Maisie Williams tells movie-goers why you won't see her as the lead in a romantic flick.

In the indie film Heatstroke, the English actress plays a runaway girl forced to go on the run from hardcore criminals. Filmed when she was 14 years old, the young starlet wandered into the sweltering heat of the African desert.

It's no surprise that the We Are Monsters star isn't interested in playing the lovey-dovey lead in a romantic comedy. Williams seems at ease raising hell as a tough persona with a strong will. As reported here, the young thespian was just learning how to drive. Imagine the road rage when Arya Stark is behind the wheel.

Williams explains to Vanity Fair why she's no leading lady, "I can't ever see myself playing the romantic lead because that's not me. I'm not that girl. I mean, that's acting and you can pretend to be that girl, but you draw from what you know." The Scream Awards nominee continues, "I guess never really being that person and kind of always being that person climbing trees and swimming in rivers, that's the role that always attracts me. Reading this script, it sounded like enormous fun."

Don't count off romantic comedies just yet for the blossoming TV star. If the right script comes along, with the romantic lead "climbing up trees and swimming in rivers," then that's the role she wants to play in the future.
