Before the 2014 World Cup started many believed that Costa Rica would struggle to gain a single point, and many believed that the Netherlands would at best sneak through their group stage. However, both teams have been sensational, and quickly became two of the hottest topics at the 2014 World Cup. Sadly for the two teams enjoying a Cinderella story of sorts, one of them will pack their bags and return home, with the winner heading in to a World Cup semi-final clash against Lionel Messi's Argentina. Luckily you can catch the action here.
Netherlands will be heavily dependant on veterans Robin Van Persie and Arjen Robben, but their younger players will be looking to impress, too. Costa Rica's Joel Campbell will be the man to watch for them, especially with his club Arsenal pondering over whether to finally give him his debut season with Arsenal, or to continue loaning him out to clubs for experience and game-time.
There's been a lot of attacking displays this summer, especially from these two teams, so it'd be hard to see these two attacking, entertaining sides sitting back and defending. Expect them to attack from the start, with both looking to adopt a "we will score more than you" approach. Will Costa Rica be able to hold on when Netherlands come at them at full force?
Who will win this match, and can the winner realistically match Messi and Argentina? Either way the upcoming World Cup fixtures are ones that you cannot afford to miss.
