Former 'Scandal' Star Columbus Short Arrested Again- Actor Thrown In Jail After Bar Brawl Over Fourth Of July Weekend

Talk about a scandal.

Columbus Short has been keeping quite busy for the past few months...busy getting arrested that is. The former Scandal star just got arrested for the fourth time in four months over the holiday weekend.

While at the Katy Trail Ice House in Dallas, Texas , over the July 4^th weekend, Short got into an altercation when it appeared that the star was about to leave the bar without paying his tab. After spending multiple hours at the bar and racking up a pretty good tab, Columbus went to leave but was stopped by a security guard who told the actor he needed to pay his bill.

Columbus started yelling at the guard and accused him of being racist, and that's when the fight broke out.

Off duty cops, who were at the bar, broke up the fight but a source says that Short wouldn't let up.

"He was like a dog with a bone who wouldn't let go," the insider told TMZ.

He allegedly started to scream and attack the cops so they arrested him, but not for assault but for public intoxication.

Short is gaining quite the reputation for himself. This is the second bar fight that the actor has been involved in within the past year, after he was arrested for knocking out a man in a bar a few months ago. He has also been arrested and brought up on domestic violence charges in the past.
