Looks like rapper Lil Wayne, and his label, Young Money could be in trouble. A new lawsuit could ruin deals that promote singers and rappers, like Drake, and Nicki Minaj and others according to TMZ.
Before Young Money, there was something named youngmoney.com. The website is a business specializing in helping young entrepreneurs manage and make money for more than a decade, according to the gossip site.
The new lawsuit claims that the company that owned the website sold it to the rapper's Young Money label in 2011 for $600,000. So why the lawsuit? According to TMZ, there were some rules and regulations that came with the ownership. One rule was that if Lil Wayne's Young Money business didn't make the payments on time, then the label would forfeit the name youngmoney.com and it would go back to the seller.
Reportedly, Lil Wayne owes $250K, and is ignoring his obligations to the company, leaving the seller no choice but to sue the rapper and the label to get its domain name back.
So for no comments have been made by Wayne's camp.
