The seventh and final season of FX's motorcycle Hamlet interpretation, Sons Of Anarchy, has a September airdate booked and this week we got our first look at the upcoming episodes in a great teaser trailer. Should we expect the worst in the final season of the hit show? Let's look at the teaser trailer to see what's in store for Jax and his crew.
Series creator and showrunner Kurt Sutter hasn't played coy with how close he wants his show to resemble Hamlet. So is everyone going to die like in the Shakespeare play? Considering the previous seasons and the type of show it is, yes that is highly plausible.
Some details of season seven we can confirm include a guest appearance from Marilyn Manson, the return of Walton Goggins as Venus Van Dam, and Charlie Hunnam won't be sporting his beard any more.
We know how season six ended, so we're assuming season seven will pick up right were we left off and where Hamlet's final act opens - a burial.
In the teaser trailer, we get a quick glimpse of Hunnam riding his motorcycle (duh!) at night. As flashes of light streak across his face, a skull replaces his. The teaser trailer itself is entitled "Hell Awaits," so we can assume the last season is going to be quite the ride.
This teaser will air on FX this week, but EW has the first clip online early for us! Check it out right here:
