WWE Spoilers: Seth Rollins Future Plans, Cryptic Sting Tweets, Roman Reigns Comments on Shield Breakup

Seth Rollins won the Money in the Bank briefcase at the pay-per-view of the same name last month, but he has been unsuccessful in his two cash in attempts thus far because of the lunatic that is Dean Ambrose. But what does the future hold for the traitor that broke up The Shield?

The latest reports indicate concern about what to do with Seth Rollins in the future. The current plan is for Brock Lesnar to beat John Cena for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam and then drop the belt to someone else at Night of Champions.

This would not happen, though, if WWE can figure out a way for Lesnar to work more dates. If the two sides can work it out, then Lesnar could hold the title up until WrestleMania 31, when he would drop it to Roman Reigns. This, however, would leave Seth Rollins in limbo, especially because the company has placed him and the briefcase in a prominent position. The company has also reportedly discussed Rollins' losing the briefcase to Ambrose as the latter becomes more popular.

And speaking of The Shield, Roman Reigns spoke to SLAM! Wrestling about his team's breakup:

"I could have really seen The Shield closing down every single show for the next three years. I think we had that ability and that we were that hot. I think it's an understatement that the vast majority of the fans loved The Shield. But we didn't have too many opponents left to face. Possibly the Wyatts, but you can't really go above Evolution, especially after beating them twice. Between myself, Dean and Seth, we're doing the exact same thing The Shield was doing, but we're doing it on our own now....I knew that whenever the split would happen, all three of us would be doing something special. I'm proud to say that fortunately for me I'm in the position I'm in, that fortunately for him Seth is in the position he is in and the same with Dean. We all came out looking good and smelling like roses I think from The Shield's break-up."

Finally, Sting has posted two cryptic tweets. One is the photo at the top of the page, while the other simply says, "7.14.14." This could tease an appearance on Monday Night Raw in Virginia, but it more likely indicates the reveal of Sting's prominence in WWE 2K15.
