Adam Levine Recruits Stevie Nicks As 'The Voice' Team Mentor, Season Seven: Maroon 5 Rocker 'Bribed, Begged & Pleaded' To Get Fleetwood Mac Singer To Join

Are you ready for an all-new season of The Voice?

Well if you're not, you better get ready because the premiere is right around the corner and we have some juicy news as to who one of the mentors for the show will be when season seven premieres this September.

Adam Levine has locked down one of the biggest musical icons in the world in hopes that she will help him bring home the trophy for the second year in a row.

Stevie Nicks will be helping Levine coach his rooster of prospective superstars during the new season.

So how did Adam get one of the biggest names in music to join his team?

The pair said down with Extra's Terri Seymour to give her all the details.

When asked how he secured Ms. Fleetwood Mac herself, Levine said that is took a lot of "bribery, begging, pleading and gifts." Nicks add that he gave her "a fur coat, some beautiful shoes, sheets," Levine added "anything she wanted."

All joking aside, Nicks says that the real reason she agreed to it was because "It's a great show," adding "I mean he would never still be sitting her seven years later if this wasn't a great show."

Stevie was on hand during the first season finale when Team Adam contestant Javier Colon took home the crown, and ever since then Adam saw her as a "lucky charm."

The host asks Adam how the two new coaches Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams are blending in with him and Blake Shelton.

"They are so good at this," the coach reveals. "They're so good and I'm such a huge fan of both of them and it's just like it happened easily and smooth sailing from the beginning they were frighteningly good at it."
