SDCC 2014: 'Marvel's Agent Carter' Headed To Comic-Con! Meet Hayley Atwell As Marvel's Newest Secret Agent!

Marvel Entertainment has unveiled its top-secret plans for San Diego Comic-Con. Get ready to meet actress Hayley Atwell (Captain America: The Winter Solider) in her upcoming ABC series, Marvel's Agent Carter.

As mentioned here, the espionage series follows Peggy Carter (Atwell) as she tries to balance living a regular day job while leading a secret spy lifestyle. Based on the Marvel One-Shot short film, we know the World War II solider will eventually become the founding member of S.H.I.E.L.D., along with Howard Stark. We will get to see Peggy on espionage cases while dealing with the loss of Steve Rogers, also known as Captain America.

Convention-goers should be at Ballroom 20 at 3pm on Friday, July 15. Executive producers Tara Butters, Michele Fazekas, Christopher Markus, Stephen McFeely, and Louis D' Esposito are scheduled to appear at the panel. Not only will Agent Peggy Carter herself will be there, viewers will also get a sneak peek at behind-the-scenes footage.

There are many things you can ask the lead actress and the showrunners. When will Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper) show up in the live-action series?  Will the evil organization Hydra be the main villain, like in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.?

After the Q&A session, fans should head on down to the convention floor and gather at the Marvel Booth (#2329). There will be an autograph session with cast and executive producers that should not be missed.
