Daniel Radcliffe has definitely come a long way since his days as the iconic boy-wizard Harry Potter and the first teaser trailer for his new movie Horns definitely shows this transformation - literally at times! Director Alexandre Aja adapted Joe Hill's novel of the same name with Radcliffe starring as a young man who is blamed for the rape and death of his girlfriend (Juno Temple) and then gains supernatural powers along with a set of horns.

"No one is born evil," we hear Radcliffe say (in an American accent!) in this teaser trailer. "But sometimes, when you go through hell, the only way out is to walk deeper into the fire."

These words are heard over devilish imagery of a young man that is clearly dealing with a lot - or going through hell. Finally, the final shot shows Radcliffe with horns protruding out of his forehead, as if he accepted his fate in order to find out the truth.

Here is a synopsis of Hill's novel, which should reveal a bit more about the movie than this teaser trailer has:

Ignatius William Perrish wakes up bleary and confused after a night of drinking and "doing terrible things" to find he has grown horns. In addition to being horribly unsightly, these inflamed protuberances give Ig an equally ugly power-if he thinks hard enough, he can make people admit things (intimate, embarrassing, I-can't-believe-you-just-said-that details). This bizarre affliction is of particular use to Ig, who is still grieving over the murder of his childhood sweetheart (a grisly act the entire town, including his family, believes he committed).
