Christina Aguilera Baby News- Singer Hosts Baby Shower With Intense Cake Of Woman Giving Birth

Christina Aguilera and fiancé Matthew Rutler are getting ready to welcome a new daughter to their family and the very pregnant couple celebrated by having a co-ed baby shower over the weekend.

The event was attended by 50 family members as well as some of their closest friends. The couple treated their guests to a very elaborately decorated cake featuring a woman giving birth. The intense cake decoration depicted the baby's head crowning with a head full of hair, while the woman laying on a rug on a hardwood floor proceeded to push.

Also on the cake were the words, "Push Xtina, push," written in frosting.

A source told E! News that the guest of honor looked gorgeous in a white dress while wearing a flower crown on her head.

Insiders revealed that the party was a blast and it lasted until way after midnight. The festivities featured a ton of flowers, candles and tea lights, which made for a very intimate fun setting. The guests were treated to some good home cooking with breaded chicken, veggie burgers, and mini grilled cheese sandwiches being among some of the food that was served.

Both cocktails and mocktails, for the pregnant Xtina, were served, which had some pretty cute baby shower names like Baby Bellini, Mommy Moonshine, and It's Almost Time, which got guests in the mood for some racy as well as tradition baby shower games.

"Christina is doing great," the insider revealed to the news site. "She's really glowing. She's feeling great and isn't tired at all. She can't wait to meet her baby girl."
