Todd Chrisley Gay Rumors: 'Chrisley Knows Best Star' Says 'Today, I'm Not Gay'

When it comes to being followed around my gay rumors Todd Chrisley definitely know how that feels. However, while most reality stars and actors choose not to respond to all the gossip, Chrisley sets the record straight... well sort of.

Chrisley is known for his hilarious reality show on USA, Chrisley Knows Best, which follows around Todd and his family in their hometown of Atlanta, Georgia. The family has always been supporters of gay rights even starring in the NoH8 campaign, which was first instituted to repel the Prop 8 ruling in California.

In an interview with The Wrap during the TCA's (Television Critics Association) press tour this past week, Chrisley opened up and addressed the rumors of his sexuality.

"I don't feel there's a need for me to not address it," the reality shows patriarch told the celebrity news site. "The reporter asked the question and it's rude of me not to respond."

He then goes on address the topic even further saying, "I don't believe that being gay is something you should be ashamed of. I don't believe it's something you should hide. And if I wanted to date someone, I would call you and I would ask you go to dinner with me. But right now, I'm very content in my life with where I am. Today, I'm not gay.

Todd and his wife have been married for 20 years and they say the key to their success is just "respect."
