The freak show is about to get even freakier.
American Horror Story has been known for getting some pretty big name guest stars in the past, Stevie Nicks, Emma Roberts, and Kathy Bates, just to name a few, but it looks like the series is about to add an equally big name to the roster for the new season when it starts up this fall.
Neil Patrick Harris has asked creator of the horror anthology, Ryan Murphy, if he could make a guest appearance in the upcoming season. In an interview with EW Radio, Harris reveals that he penned a letter to Murphy asking him to be a part of the freak show.
"I wrote a letter to Ryan asking if I can be in it, even though I wasn't even available to be in it," the How I Met Your Mother alum revealed. "To do one that involves any kind of freak, circus nonsense is going to be so unsettling to watch. Can't wait!"
It looks like his letter worked because Ryan tweeted out to NPH this past Friday writing. "@ActuallyNPH of course you can be on Freak Show! I have a role I think you'd love."

The Hedwig and the Angry Inch star has yet to confirm the news, but it looks like some AHS fans are already geeking out over the possibilities.
