'Batman: Assault on Arkham' Presents CCH Pounder & Matthew Gray Gubler In 'Opening Scene' Clip [Watch Video]

From DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Animation, Batman: Assault on Arkham releases an all-new clip featuring CCH Pounder (The Shield) and Matthew Gray Gubler (Criminal Minds). The Ridder gets a chance to steal in the spotlight in this new footage from the animated Dark Knight film.

As mentioned here, the government rounds up DC Universe's toughest super villains and throws them into highly classified missions. The reason the team gets their name Suicide Squad is because each member is not guaranteed to survive the deadly assignment. If the wanted criminal makes it out alive, their prison sentence will be reduced.

In the opening scene, The Riddler (Gubler) is messing around with Task Force X leader Amanda Waller (Pounder), delivering his cryptic riddles. Edward Nygma, the criminal mastermind, shows off his superior intellect as he answers his own mind-boggling puzzles. Waller is losing her patience as the Batman baddie loves to hear himself talk.

Just when Nygma thinks he has his worthy opponent defeated and confused, the government agent answers his question. Surprised, the criminal genius wants to know how she solved his clever riddle.

Waller responds, "I have Google."

And then, the action starts in a snap. Armed soldiers drop in from the skylight, shattering through the window. Waller thinks she has her fugitive captive, but she forgot about the Caped Crusader hiding in the shadows.
