Marvel Entertainment has released another part of its top-secret plans for San Diego Comic-Con. Before viewers catch the upcoming ABC series on the tube, a new poster has been unveiled for Marvel's Agent Carter, starring Hayley Atwell (Captain America: The Winter Solider).
As mentioned here, the espionage series follows Peggy Carter (Atwell) as she tries to balance living a normal day job while jumping into danger as a secret spy. Following the chronology based on Captain America movies, the World War II solider will eventually become the founding member of S.H.I.E.L.D., along with Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper). In the aftermath of The First Avenger, Peggy deals with the loss of the love of her life, Steve Rogers.
In the poster, which will be handed out at Marvel's booth for free, we see the tough heroine posing straight and tall, holding a smoking gun. Behind her, we see two dead bodies, probably the bad guys, lying on the floor. She took down two goons with tommy guns without even trying.
During Comic-Con, convention-goers must report to Ballroom 20 at 3pm on Friday, July 25. Executive producers Tara Butters, Michele Fazekas, Christopher Markus, Stephen McFeely, and Louis D' Esposito are scheduled to appear at the panel. Viewers will be treated with behind-the-scenes footage.
We also mentioned here that fans should gather at the Marvel Booth (#2329) after the Q&A session. There will be an autograph session with the cast and executive producers. You definitely want your poster signed by Carter herself.
