Premier League Transfer Gossip: William Carvalho, Andy Carroll, Mario Balotelli, Stefan De Vrij & Thomas Vermaelen Set For EPL Transfers

The Premier League season is just weeks away and it seems like the teams cannot wait any longer to get their hands on the hottest talent the world has to offer. Arsenal, Newcastle and Manchester United are fighting it out to sign stars like William Carvalho, Andy Carroll, Mario Balotelli, Stefan De Vrij and Thomas Vermaelen, but which stars will end up at which of these teams? Check out the latest buzz.

Arsenal are continuing to show they mean business, and the club have several more stars lined up, including Carvalho, who could set them back around $40 million, and Balotelli, who would cost around $23 million. Stars like this duo would see Arsenal become a top contender to win the EPL title in 2015. However, they will continue to let some stars go, too.

Arsenal are looking to sell Vermaelen to Manchester United, in a deal believed to be worth $15 million. United are in need of defensive reinforcements, and they see Thomas, and De Vrij as the men to provide them with just that. De Vrij could move to Old Trafford for a similar fee, too. Newcastle haven't often been a club to spend big money, but that's changed this summer, and the club want to bring back former star, Carroll, in a deal believed to be worth around $20 million.
