Manchester United are currently preparing for their 2014/15 Premier League Season. The club recently arrived in USA, looking forward to sight-seeing, training and a ton of practice matches. Soccer has exploded in the U.S. and this gives them a chance to witness one of the most decorated franchises in soccer history do their pre-season business. The club's players have seemed to enjoy their Stateside tour so far, but before long it will be back to business in England.
The club will face LA Galaxy, Real Madrid, Roma and Inter Milan in the International Champions Cup. As United are in no European competitions this season, this may be the best overseas experience they can get for the next year, so the squad will be looking forward to making the most of the sun, experience and the various aspects that cannot be replicated in England.
Can United rebuild and become a threat again this season? The club are considered as big as Madrid, but whilst they're dominating the world, United are currently looking to rebuild their faltering squad. The beginning states will indeed take place on their American tour. United will perhaps be the team that takes it the most serious, and they'll be looking to impress those in attendance, so expect big things from them.
Who will win the International Champions Cup, and is it important that huge teams like United continue to visit USA every year? It's going to be an interesting summer, and an even more interesting 2014/15 Premier League season.
