Was Sonja Morgan's 'Real Housewives Of New York' Promise Ring Proposal Staged?- RHONY Starlet Says 'Its Obvious Harry Dubin And I Are Soul Mates'

Notorious single girl Sonja Morgan seems to have found love with Harry Dubin on The Real Housewives Of New York, who gave her a promise ring during last week's episode at Carole Radziwill's 50^th birthday bash. However, new reports have emerged saying that the ring might just have been a setup for the cameras.

However, Miss Morgan is standing by the scene in an interview with RadarOnline.

"There's nothing fake about Harry Dubin," Sonja told the celebrity site. "Harry genuinely spoke from his heart and said he wants to commit."

However, after saying that he was committed to Sonja he left the birthday party with LuAnn. Fans will have to tune in this Tuesday to see how that storyline plays out.

Despite the incident with Lu, Sonja is sticking by her man.

"He also said that this was not THE ring- he was going to have another one made and that it was not an engagement ring," the housewife added. "But it was a gesture to let me know how much he loves and cares for me."

Dubin and Morgan dated for a period of time over 25 years ago, but after Harry cheated on Sonja, they called it quits. 

But now it looks like love has found its way back to them.

"Harry has been talking about committing with me for some time now, since his relationship of three or four years ended about a year ago," she states.

Fellow cast members Ramona Singer, Carole, and even LuAnn De Lesseps are weighing in on the love between Harry and Sonja,

"Ramona, LuAnn, and Carole have all said how obvious it is that Harry and I are soul mates, but commitment is a very big step that has to be thought through," Sonja explains.

"You would have to be blind to not see how much Harry loves me and I love Harry," Morgan also reveals to the gossip site, further expressing her love for Mr. Dubin.

As for the claims that the whole scene was a setup and that Sonja even provided the ring for Harry to give to her, she states, "I most certainly did not give Harry the ring to give to me. I had no idea what Harry was going to do and I was very touched. It's totally real."
