Former Wizards of Waverly Place star Jake T. Austin has just been charged with a hit-and-run after he crashed into three different parked cars last year in Los Angeles.
The Fosters star is now facing up to six months in prison and will have to pay a $1,000 fine should he be found guilty in court.
However, a month prior to this incident the former Disney Channel star had gotten a DUI, so he could be facing even more jail time if the court finds him guilty of violating his probation stemming from the driving under the influence offense.
During the accident, which took place around 3 am on November of 2013 in Sherman Oaks, California, the actor fled for them scene after striking the cars, which is a misdemeanor offense.
He then proceeded to call a car service to get him and his passengers from the crime scene, but it wasn't hard for officers to figure out whose car it was since it was registered to Austin.
It was unclear at the time if Austin was in the driver's seat when the incident occurred or if he was simply a passenger in the car, but now Jake has been identified as the driver and has been linked to the crime and is being charged in the case.
