The only feud that ever happened between Rachel McAdams and Lindsay Lohan was between their characters Regina George and Cady Heron onscreen in Mean Girls.

In fact, McAdams even says that she admired Lohan's talent on the set of the film.

The Notebook actress opens up in the August issue of Allure magazine, where she appears on the cover with very little makeup on, and discusses her time shooting Mean Girls, and her respect for LiLo.

When discussing rumors of Lindsay being intimidated by McAdams' talent while filming, Rachel says, "If anything, I was in awe of her talent. I looked at her as this experience actor, and she had great comedic timing, so natural. It's just funny to hear that because you never know what people are thinking," she tells the magazine. "We all try to act like we've got it together."

One such time in her career that she recalls acting like she had it together, was in one of her first feature film roles in The Hot Chick, where she switches bodies with comedian Rob Schneider. She talks to the magazine about the infamous strip tease scene and how she thinks it was one of the toughest challenges in her acting career.

"I just remember breathing deep and thinking, 'Oh, my God, I have to go out there and do this striptease, as a man... as a woman. How did I get here?'" she jokes. "It was probably one of the scariest moments I've had in my career. It stretched me in ways I could never have imagined. Literally."

As far as how she hopes her career pans out, she explains, "I'm hoping it's going to be complicated and have lots of dead ends and corners and sharp turns. I hope it can't be summed up too easily when I'm done."
