Angela Bassett Comments On Bobbi Kristina, And Cissy Houston's Remarks, Director Reveals That, "I Lost My Mother" And "Respects Anyone's Feelings" [VIDEO]

And the drama continues! While Cissy Houston sits back and continues to be upset about the new biopic of her daughter, the late Whitney Houston, director and actress, Angela Bassett pushes on with production.

In the ET video below, the host describes the controversy of the Lifetime film, noting that folks are not happy with the people involved in the future movie.

The clip below shows America's Next Top Model, Yaya DaCosta in action as she acts like she is singing the hit song, I'm Every Woman, as the reporters note that Houston's daughter, Bobbi Kristina is upset at the production, and that DaCosta is playing the late singer.

MStars News has been keeping you updated with all the latest in the issues surrounding the filming of the biopic. We previously reported that Kristina lashed out via Twitter at the director, Bassett when she made it aware that Houston's daughter would not be apart of the project. Kristina hoped that she would get the role of playing her mother.

In the video below Bassett said that she "Respects anyone's feelings," and notes that she "could understand." Bassett revealed that in the process of this project, she "lost her own mother."

A rep for Kristina says that, "Bobbi Kristina has no comment on the movie," after she made outrageous tweets about Bassett and her choices that she made to pick DaCosta.

Bassett noted that she could expect issues, and criticism, for example, DaCosta lip singing to Houston's songs. The director notes that she and Houston were dear friends. If fans can remember the two ladies worked together in the hit 90s film, Waiting To Exhale.

Deborah Cox, who is singing Houston's songs, notes that the family has not reached out to her, but she understands, and says, "It's complicated."

DaCosta says that she has shut off all social media, so that she doesn't get distracted, while no comments have been made from Bobby Brown.
