While several celebrities have stated opposing opinions about the Israel-Palestine conflict recently, none have come out as impassioned as America's Got Talent host and Sirius XM satellite jock Howard Stern.
When a caller predicted Stern would "turn his back on Israel" when HBO's John Oliver, host of Last Week Tonight, was in the studio, Stern struck back saying, "I'm not gonna change my tune. Israel's at no fault."
The caller disagreed. "Israel is at fault, actually."
Stern, immediately riled by the comment, said, "F*** off!"
Stern angrily cut the caller off when he said, "Zionists run Israel." He said, "I don't want to listen to any anti-Semitism today. Jews get enough s**t all over the world. They get s**t on all the time. Jews are the indigenous people of that area. I'm sick of the bulls**t. And the Arabs don't even want those Palestinians, otherwise they'd let them matriculate into their country."
Stern said to the caller "you sicken me," before ending the call. He admitted to long time co-host Robin Quivers the call had gotten under his skin after she attempted to calm him down.
Stern said, "If you're anti-Israel, then you're anti-America. It's the only democracy over there, it's the only friend we have who's willing to fight and stand up for what's right."
He also had words for Pink Floyd's Roger Waters. Stern acknowledged that while while Waters was a friend of the show, he also "ought to shut his mouth" about his anti-Israel views.
