The International Champions Cup has started, and it couldn't be any more entertaining. English Premier League Manchester United faced Serie A Roma, and thanks to Louis Van Gaal, Wayne Rooney and Juan Mata, they were able to grab the win. The New York Red Bulls proved the MLS can beat the EPL, by downing Arsenal 1-0, thanks to a former English-based player in Bradley Wright-Phillips. Defending UEFA Champions League champions, Real Madrid, lost on penalties to Inter Milan, despite a stunning Gareth Bale goal.

Van Gaal's start at United has been impressive, and his team beat Roma 3-2, thanks to goals from Rooney and Mata. It seems like better times are ahead for the Red Devils. Their EPL rivals Arsenal, however, embarrassed themselves against MLS side NY, with Wright-Phillips scoring the only goal of the match. Both games contained nothing but end-to-end action, and the fans are hoping for more of the same.

Madrid, and Bale, were hoping to prove to Milan that they mean business, but despite a stunning Bale strike, Milan won on penalties. When the regular season starts, it's unlikely Madrid will be such an easy team to beat, as proven last season.

Are you enjoying the ICC, and can it become a regular part of the soccer calender? Fans often argue about whether the EPL, La Liga, MLS or Serie A are the best league, and this might just be the perfect way to settle this argument each and every summer. Who will win the ICC?
