During the San Diego Comic-Con, the CW has released new promotional videos for its upcoming DC Comics superhero series, The Flash. Not only do viewers have an updated logo to look at, but they also get a brand new trailer to watch too.

In the DC Universe, Barry Allen was working late one night in the lab during a lightning storm. While Barry was mixing chemicals, a bolt of lighting struck through the windows and zapped him with sheer electricity. Not only did our hero survive the chemical explosion, he was also given super-speed powers.

In the new logo video, we see the trademarks of Warner Bros Television and DC Comics. As if symbolizing the speedster's origin story, the WB trademark is sparkling with electricity. Usually comic book fans associate DC Comics firsthand with Batman and Superman, but this time it's the Flash appearing on the cover.

In the "Speed Trap" trailer, a police officer is sitting in his car, waiting to give someone a speeding ticket. In the TV show, Grant Gustin is obviously younger than his comic book counterpart. To show that rebelliousness of youth, each tim he passes by in his speeding car, going faster than before.

In the comics, the Flash is faster than speed of light. The trailer seems to suggest the Arrow spinoff knows exactly how fast the red speedster is going. Our superhero can run faster than 760 MPH.
