Viewers are fleeing from the Jersey Shore.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey can't seem to hold onto their viewers, as this season continues to pull lackluster numbers for the Bravo TV network.
Despite all the drama that is happening this season, for example Teresa Giudice's fraud sentencing, and drama between the new girls, it looks like people just aren't that interested in the ladies of Jersey anymore.
The lack of loyalty could possibly be the major cast shakeup that took place this season, with the letting go of Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita and also the demotion of Kathy Wakile from housewife to recurring guest star.
RadarOnline is reporting that this season is scoring the lowest ratings ever, even compared to season one when all the ladies were relatively unknown.
The sixth season premiere, which introduced viewers to Nicole Napolitano, Teresa Aprea and Amber Marchese drew 2.1 million viewers, and the second episode saw that number drastically decreased to 1.64 million viewers.
This news comes on the heels of Teresa being cut from an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen's housewife after show. It was previously reported (click here to read about Teresa and Andy's feud) that Teresa was offended by harsh comments that Cohen was making on her behalf, but that she would still make an appearance on his show. Now it looks like the network didn't want to have her on the talk show at all.
"Teresa was notified on Friday her appearance was canceled," an insider for the Network told Radar. "The network [was] upset with Teresa for not doing many promotional appearances."
They also feel that her lack of appearances could have caused the show to falter for the first two episodes of the season.
Giudice is also reportedly making $700,000 for this season, a huge number compared to her other cast members.

Bravo execs are questioning whether this huge salary is worth it.
"Bravo bosses are starting to think Teresa isn't worth keeping if her diva behavior continues," a source told the news site. "The network is very sensitive to the fact that she is facing a looming prison sentence, and has tried to work with her."
"Teresa should start treating the producers and network executives with dignity and respect," the insider continued. "They don't have the time nor patience to deal with her temper tantrums. Teresa should recognize her only source of income is from the show."
The ratings for last night's episode are currently unavailable, but if they continue to drop Bravo might need to think of a way to turn around one of their most successful Housewives franchises.
