'Dance Moms' Star Abby Lee Miller Admits FAKE Engagement - Michael Padula Gay Rumors Go Viral After Sham Proposal

Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller just came out to explain that her engagement to Michael Padula was a sham.

The reality star may have just gushed about her engagement to Padula, a communications specialist, but she is now wishing she hadn't.

During an interview on The Juice, a talk show on Veria Lving TV Network, hosts Chuck Nice and Dr. Evelyn Minaya expressed their congrats to the dance instructor, which was greeted by an outpour of applause from the audience.

However, she tried to quiet them as she tried to explain that the whole engagement was a fraud.

"No, wait, wait, wait, just let me explain," the star began." My mother was very ill, and she just passed away... I just think it was a comfort thing for her to know there was somebody."

"I don't even have a ring yet," Miller explains.

The reality star's mother, Maryen, just passed away this past February after suffering from colon cancer.

RadarOnline is also alluding to the fact that Padula might actually not be interested in Abby at all, as they are reporting that he is very active in the LGBT community in Los Angeles. He attended SoCal Social Club networking events, which is an LGBT organization and also participated in the National Gay Dance Council of America.

A source explained to Radar, "She could know about Michael and just be engaged to him for attention."
