For the better part of the first four seasons of HBO's Game of Thrones, Sansa Stark was a victim dragged from place to place with the specter of death hanging over her head at almost all times. Her moments of happiness were few and far between, but her situation changed a bit toward the end of Season 4 when she seemingly underwent a major transformation in the presence of Littlefinger.
Sophie Turner, who portrays Sansa on the show, spoke to TheWrap and previewed a more mature, confident and even manipulative Sansa in Season 5. "Now she's kind of in the position where Baelish isn't overly sure what Sansa is about," she said. "He doesn't know why she stuck up for him, but he's kind of realizing that she's a great manipulator. She's not this vulnerable young girl anymore. She's also realized that she can manipulate him through other means. Now she realizes his weakness is her and her mother, she's going to try to play out her sexuality as much as she can to manipulate him."
Turner's on-screen sister, Arya Stark (Maisie Williams), has some issues of her own to deal with after she let the Hound die after a battle with Brienne. Now, Arya is on a boat headed east.
In a recent interview with IGN, Williams said she would love for Arya to face off with Cersei (Lena Headey) but admitted it's "too soon in the story" for that to happen. Asked if it ever would, Williams laughed and said she had no clue.
"I'm really glad I don't have to make the decision either, because that's a lot of pressure," she said.
