Monday, rapper Nelly talked about boxer Floyd Mayweather's intelligence after he was spotted getting cozy with the boxer's ex-fiancé, Shantel Jackson for his birthday weekend.
In an interview with ESPN's "Highly Questionable" with hosts, Dan Le Batard and Bomani Jones asked the 39-year-old if he was feuding with the 38-year-old undefeated champion and confirmed the news with a jab towards his intellect.
"I don't have beef with Floyd Mayweather. For the most part I think the whole thing is misunderstood." He said regarding the ongoing news that Nelly stole Floyd's fiance from him, "I try to understand where he's coming from which is a little hard to do, but I guess it's one of those things where he is who he is."
Nelly added, that the arrogant boxer is so use to living lavish and completely surrounds himself next to "Yes Men" that he was actually told no and doesn't like it.
"I think he's one of those people that don't like 'No' said to him," the rapper said insinuating that Shantel ended the engagement with the boxer. "I think when anybody does that, I think that's what kind of gets under his skin a little bit. I don't know? It's kind of hard talking to a guy who hasn't graduated from high school."
