Cam Thomas In Disease Drama: Pittsburgh Steelers' NFL Star & Lineman Hits Out At Accuser

The 2014-15 NFL season is a matter of weeks away, which means a few negative things are always around the corner too. With the season coming, people often talk about their salaries, and how the players start to take the headlines for the right reasons, then usually, somebody from out of nowhere makes an accusation against the star, sometimes with a legit reason, and sometimes looking for compensation. Former San Diego Chargers star Cam Thomas, now at the Pittsburgh Steelers, has been accused of giving his ex-girlfriend a sexually transmitted disease, but he has broken his silence, hitting out at his accusert.

They claim she is a "bitter girl", who wants to grab as much money as possible. Cam's attorney Adam Kenner explains "She's angry, vindictive and mean because he has another woman, and a baby in his life." Kenner insists that the lady in quesiton had no disease, and then after testing positive made her claim, believing it has to be because of the NFL star. The evidence suggests that it's another man, and not the NFL star, but the woman possibly believed she could take some money from an unwanted situation.

Cam's lawyer explained more, saying "I'm not his doctor but we're going to get him tested as a result of this baseless accusation." He continued to discuss his innocence, saying "This guy is like a gentle giant.  He would never lay a hand on her."

Can NFL stars keep themselves safer, ensuring that nobody can make false accusations, if they indeed prove to be just that?
