Evanescence Singer, Amy Lee Gives Birth To First Child, A Son, Jack Lion

Amy Lee has something new to sing about, motherhood. MStars News has learned that the Evanescence singer gave birth to a baby boy last week.

The new mother gave birth to her first child with husband, Josh Hartzler on Thursday, July 24, her manager revealed to PEOPLE.

"Our little cub, Jack Lion Hartzler, is here," Lee, 32, captioned her Instagram photo, as she cradled her newborn son in her hospital bed. She continued. "I have never known the depths of my heart till now. The world just exploded into technicolor."

Lee's bundle of joy, Jack was born at 7:51 a.m., weighing in at 7 lbs., 13 oz. and measuring 21 inches long, the rep shared.

MStars News previously reported that the singer and her husband, revealed that they were going to be parents via Twitter back in January.

"Ok I can't keep it a secret anymore - I've been working on a very special new project for 2014 - A BABY!" Lee, 32, happily posted on Twitter. "Josh and I are expecting! I'm so happy!"

Lee and Hartzler, a therapist, were married in May 2007 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
