Before Sharknado: The Second One airs on the Syfy Channel, developer Other Ocean has partnered up with Majesco Entertainment Company for Sharknado: The Video Game. Get ready to play as Ian Ziering's Fin Shepard as he races to stop a nunbeatable series of shark-infested tornados.
In the first Sharknado, global warming causes a freak hurricane to swamp Los Angeles. Now nature's deadliest killer of the oceans rules by land and air. While thousands of sharks are chopping down on unsuspecting victims, it's up to Fin (Ziering) to save his estranged family. In the sequel, the shark-infested tornadoes have moved to a new location and threaten the lives of everyone in New York.

Game Director Frank Cifaldi explains adapting the cult flick into the gaming world, "The Sharknado movies already exhibit a strange video game logic, so translating them into a work of interactive art wasn't much of a challenge." Cifaldi adds, "We still haven't seen the Citizen Kane of video games, but at least we have our Sharknado."
In the iOs title, gamers will run through the streets of Manhattan wielding a broadsword while chasing after gold coins. Fly into the heart of the tornado riding on top of a tiger shark. Just like in the TV movies, you get to carry a chainsaw and let it roar.
