Premiere: Katy Perry 'This Is How We Do' Music Video: Songstress Kicks-It 80s Style For New Song, Fans React On Twitter

Katy Perry gives us the anthem of the summer today and released the music video for "This Is How We Do," which is a modern art masterpiece.

The music video, which is the fifth single off of her Prism album, gives off a clear 80's vibe, complete with side ponytails, colorful outfits, and outlandish jewelry (we would like to get our hands on those pizza earrings).

Perry acts out the lyrics to her video pretty literally, as she cooks pancakes for her boys, plays ping-pong all night long, and even performs some Mariah Carey-oke, complete with a cameo by the elusive chanteuse herself.

Like the lyrics suggest Katy Perry spends a good portion of the video, "chillen laid back," as she pampers herself and cools herself off with the cutest little watermelon fan, after all, this is how she do.

We are particularly in love with the animated summer treats, including a twerking ice cream cone and even a dancing pizza slice.

Fans on Twitter all seem to be enjoying the video just as much as we are.

#THISISHOWWEDO has always been one of my favorites off of Prism.

This single follows up Perry’s other prismatic hits including “Birthday,” “Roar,” “Dark Horse,” and “Unconditionally.”
