Get ready to go on a magical journey Into The Woods.
The musical fairy-tale is gearing up to hit the big screen and Disney has just released the first trailer for the upcoming film.
While the actually movie premieres five months from now, the trailer is making us wish that it was coming out tomorrow. The film is based off of Stephen Sondheim's 1987 Broadway musical of the same name, and features some of the best-known fairy-tale characters.
In the film, the motely crue of fantasy characters from Cinderella to Rapunzel and even Little Red Riding Hood, enter the wood in order to have one of their deepest wishes granted. While there is no singing in the trailer, unfortunately, there is a bunch of wishful thinking.
Maybe we will go into the deep dark forest and wish that the movie was actually hitting theaters tomorrow? Sounds like a good plan right?
Along the way, we are bound to meet stars of the movie Cinderella (Anna Kendrick), the Baker (James Corden), the Baker's wife (Emily Blunt) Prince Charming (Chris Pine), Rapunzel (Mackenzie Mauzy), the Witch (Meryl Streep), and the Wolf (Johnny Depp).
The film is set for a Christmas Day release, and you better believe we will be their opening night, with a bucket of popcorn in our hands, singing along to every song.
