The 2014/15 Premier League season is a matter of days away, and that means previews are starting to surface. With it being early August, a lot can change, but here is the first August edition of the EPL preview. Can Sergio Aguero help Manchester City to retain their title, or will Manchester United's Wayne Rooney, Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez or Chelsea's Diego Costa have something to say about that? There will be surprises a long the way, but Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho believes he, and friend Louis Van Gaal may have title-fight on their hands. He might just be right.
During the 2013/14 EPL season Mourinho insisted they weren't contenders, however, he has already said they are one of many contenders for the upcoming season. He also shocked the footballing world by saying United could compete, with his friend Van Gaal a "big" manager at a "big" club, meaning "big" things could happen. United had a horrific season last year, but seemingly they've improved and could surprise many.
Liverpool so nearly won the title last year, but after losing Luis Suarez to Barcelona this summer it's hard to see them competing this year, and with a much improved league, they could slip out of the top-four once again. Arsenal will fight for the title, alongside Man City, but they will fall short.
It's hard to look past Chelsea's star-studded squad, as they really have made all of the necessary moves. Take a look at the preview of how the table could look at the end of the season.
