GMA Anchor Michael Strahan, And 'Hollywood Exes' Star Nicole Murphy Call Off Engagement

Looks like a wedding will not be happening for this celebrity couple. MStars News has learned that GMA co-anchor, Michael Strahan, and Hollywood Exes star, Nicole Murphy have ended their engagement.

According to TMZ, the couple ended their wedding plans one day before Strahan was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

A rep in Strahan's camp claims that distance is the reason for the couples breakup. The rep says, "it's all about 2,475 air miles he lives in NYC and she's in L.A."

Challenges from distance and a busy work schedule have come into the way for both Strahan, and Murphy.

Murphy, who was previously married to actor, Eddie Murphy, divorced in 2006. The former couple have 5 kids, together. Strahan was previously married to Jean Muggli, they divorced in 2006 as well.

TMZ caught up with Murphy last month, after her fiance was threatened by a homeless man with a knife, while at the GMA studios, as she seemed to be clueless about the situation.
