Michael Strahan Clueless To His Own Break Up Announcement With 'Hollywood Exes' Star Nicole Murphy During Hall of Fame Ceremony?

Michael Strahan apparently was clueless that his breakup announcement was going to be at the exact same time as his induction into the NFL Hall of Fame.

MStars News previously reported that TMZ, revealed that Strahan and his longtime fiancee, Nicole Murphy ended their five-year engagement due to distance.

According to TMZ, Strahan thinks that the announcement was planned by the Hollywood Exes star, or someone close to Murphy in hopes of ruining the biggest night of the former NFL defensive end player's career.

Sources close to the couple revealed that the break up was expected, and that the two decided to call off their engagement weeks ago.

The site says that there was no plan on the GMA co-anchors part to reveal that the pair had broken up before his induction over the weekend.

In fact, Strahan was in the middle of receiving his official Hall of Fame yellow blazer when the media broke the news about his engagement.

TMZ reports that several people in Strahan's camp suspect that the annoucement was on time, and planned.

The has been no comment from Nicole's side yet.
