Getting fired sucks. Getting fired publicly sucks even more. But for former Saturday Night Live cast member, John Milhiser, it doesn't appear to be the end of the world. The UCB player appeared on Scott Rogowsky's live talk show Running Late alongside fellow SNL comic Sasheer Zamata to chat about the experience he calls "a dream come true."

During the segement, he touched on not only the good times, like being next to Lady Gaga and Charlize Theron, but also the introduction he had with Bruce Willis' butt.

"It sucks," admits Milhiser on being let go, "but it's also, like, this past year ... it was the year I felt the least funny." Before heading to 30 Rockefeller Plaza for his stint on SNL, he was a constant performer at the Upright Citizens Brigade theater in New York and Los Angeles, and, as one can imagine, when landing the gig at SNL, he wasn't performing as much.

Despite the recent happening, the comic has nothing but good things to say of the folks over at the famed NBC sketch show. "Everybody there is so very, very nice and welcoming and wants you to feel comfortable."

Calling it "the way of the game," he then joked, "Nobody wants to cast me as a small boyfriend or husband in a sketch."

The two then went through a couple of the highlights from Milhiser's time on SNL, including making a mold of his face and appearing alongside some rather big namesWatch Part 2 here:

And of course, let's check out that centaur sketch he spoke of. Be sure to watch for the end!
