Sheldon (Jim Parsons) freaked out in the Season 7 finale of The Big Bang Theory as his friends' lives all changed around him, so he convinced Penny (Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting) and Leonard (Johnny Galecki) to leave him at the train station as he embarked for parts unknown. But where does he go?
Some fans theorized Sheldon would calm down and return home without actually going anywhere. Others thought he would just hide in the train station, and still others believed he would actually get on the train and explore the country. The "Ask Ausiello" column at TVLine provides an answer, though not a complete one.
"Question: Any info on the Big Bang Theory season premiere? -Joey
Ausiello: For those curious about Sheldon's whereabouts all summer, I can confirm that he did, in fact, get on that train (vs. just squatting in the station, as some have speculated). The bigger question you should be asking yourself is whether he ever stepped foot outside the train during his epic journey."
TVLine also reports co-stars Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar have renegotiated their contracts and earned raises for their new three-year deals. Helberg and Nayyar had been making $125,000 and $75,000 per episode, respectively, but their new salaries have not been reported yet. Parsons, Cuoco-Sweeting and Galecki just got new deals in the neighborhood of $1 million an episode.
