With the hottest summer just about to finish, AMC kicks off their Breaking Bad Binge television event. Following in the footsteps of The Walking Dead marathon, the cable network will air in order the Emmy winning crime drama series from start to finish, introducing newcomers to the pilot.

Starting from Sunday, August 10, the can't miss episodes will start running from 5pm to 1am (ET/PT). The Binge-marathon will conclude on Sunday, October 5, finishing off with the record-breaking series finale, 'Felina.' In between commercial breaks, there will be never-before-aired interviews with the cast and crew, as well as an inside look at the making-of featurettes.

From the creative mind of creator/showrunner Vince Gilligan (The X-Files), the series begins with a mild-mannered chemistry teacher, Walter White (Bryan Cranston), discovering he has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. With the help of an ex-student Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul), Walter starts selling meth to leave money for his family. His alter ego, Heisenberg, starts a meteoric rise from drug dealer to crime kingpin.

As reported here, Breaking Bad fans are highly interested in the upcoming spinoff, Better Call Saul. In the prequel/sequel, audiences are introduced to the mysterious man who will one day become the go-to lawyer, Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk). Co-creator Peter Gould continues the crime saga with an all-new cast.
