'Real Housewives of New York' Ramona Singer Celebrity Divorce- 'RHONY' Star Confirms Separation From Husband Mario Singer On Twitter

Ramona Singer is throwing in the towel on her marriage.

The Real Housewives of New York star took to Twitter to reveal that her and husband Mario Singer are calling it quits after more than 20 years together.

"I have decided to move on with my life without Mario. I tried my best to make my marriage work," the housewife wrote. "I am excited for the new chapter in my life."

She also opened up about her upcoming divorce to Us Weekly, saying it was a hard decision but she had to do what's best for her and their daughter Avery, 19.

 "I am doing what is right for me and my daughter Avery, who is the most important person in the world to me," she tells the magazine. "But I am feeling great!"

This news comes just days after a heated confrontation between Ramona and Real Housewives producer Andy Cohen, during the second part of the RHONY reunion, where the Bravo host asked the housewife how things were going with her husband amidst rumors of his infidelity.

During the reunion that housewife seemed very tightlipped about her relationship, telling the Cohen she didn't want to talk about it, when he pressed her to give details on her marriage.

The separation comes on the heels of paparazzi pictures being released of Mario with his alleged mistress Kasey Dexter out to eat together.

However, it seems like Ramona saw the divorce coming as she told Bethenny Frankel on her talk show back in March, "I know my husband loves me, he knows that I love him, and we will see what happens. Nothing is written in stone. Life is an evolution."
